| Japan ASCD membership is open for the 2011-2012 academic year. Join now and take advantage of member prices at all Japan ASCD events which include our Special Events, TIOMs (Try It On Monday Workshops), the Annual Spring Conference, etc. Members will receive newsletters and other pertinent notifications to keep educators informed about offerings in this area. Members receive discounts for publications from Japan ASCD’s inventory of recommended professional resources. | |

| * The Japan ASCD Board of Directors voted to approve a lower price for small-size schools. To qualify as a small school, the total staff (admin and faculty) is less than 40. If the school qualifies, the school may join and pay the fees of a Small-size Institutional School. | |

| How to Join | |
| To register, go to the Acteva membership registration page on the Membership link on our website at www.jascd.org or click here **Membership Registration**. Individuals or institutional schools may select one of two payment methods--payment by credit card using the US$ price or payment by yen transfer to our Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ account. When selecting the yen transfer method, please comply by transferring funds within five (5) days. Please let our treasurer know at if the name of the registrant differs from the name on the transfer account. Treasurer may be contacted at jeffjascd@gmail.com. | |
| Institutional School Members | |
| Institutional means that a school may register for institutional membership which allows eligibility for membership for all admin/faculty. However, to activate membership, individual members at the institution must sign up individually. There is no fee because the school has already made the remittance. Select the last choice (#5) which is “Institution Member Signup – Admin/Faculty”. | |

| There is a link from the Japan ASCD website, www.jascd.org or click here **Membership Registration**. Once on the registration page, fill in all required fields and select your choice of Individual Membership (dollar or yen payment), Institutional School (dollars or yen payment) or Institution Member Signup - Admin/Faculty. When asked the number of orders, select “1” which means it is membership for one person. Be sure to keep your confirmation, especially for our Spring Conference. All data will be kept confidential but we need this for security/emergency purposes, entry at the New Sanno Hotel and for registration purposes. Thank you for your cooperation. | |
